nowslate helps people create shared displays for homes, teams, and other shared spaces. We collect and process information only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication provider identifiers, workspace or household names, preferences, and billing or subscription status if paid plans are offered.

We collect display content and configuration you choose to add to nowslate, including board names, scenes, schedules, widget settings, notes, uploaded or connected media references, and display device information needed to render boards.

We collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, log data, error reports, and usage events to operate and secure the service.

If you connect a Google account, nowslate may request access to Google user data that is necessary for the features you enable. This may include profile information used to identify your account, selected Google Photos library or album data used to display photos, and Google Calendar data used to show events on your boards.

nowslate uses Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing display features that you choose to use. For example, if you connect Google Photos, we use authorized photo data to show the selected photos on your nowslate displays. If you connect Google Calendar, we use authorized calendar data to show selected calendar events on your boards.

nowslate does not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless it is necessary for security, legal compliance, support you request, or with your explicit permission.

nowslate's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use information to create and render display boards, authenticate users, sync connected content, apply schedules, operate widgets, provide customer support, prevent abuse, maintain security, and improve reliability.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product performance and improve the service. Aggregated or de-identified information does not identify you personally.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate nowslate, such as hosting, storage, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, and error monitoring providers. These providers are authorized to use information only to provide services to nowslate.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. If that happens, we will continue to protect personal information consistent with this policy.

We retain account, board, and connected-service data for as long as needed to provide nowslate, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account or connected data by emailing [email protected].

You can revoke nowslate's access to Google data through your Google account permissions. Revoking access may stop related display features from updating.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

nowslate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to nowslate, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the service or another reasonable method. The updated date above shows when this policy was last revised.
