Terms of Service

By accessing or using nowslate, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use nowslate.

If you use nowslate on behalf of a household, company, organization, or other group, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that group.

nowslate helps users create shared display boards for homes, teams, and shared spaces. Boards may include photos, calendars, weather, clocks, notes, announcements, schedules, dashboards, and other supported widgets.

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features as the service evolves, including during beta periods.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.

You keep ownership of content you add or connect to nowslate, including photos, notes, calendar events, display scenes, and other materials. You grant nowslate the rights needed to host, process, display, and transmit that content solely to provide and operate the service.

You are responsible for the content you display and for having the rights and permissions needed to connect accounts, albums, calendars, dashboards, or other data sources.

Third-party integrations, including Google services, are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. nowslate is not responsible for third-party services or changes to those services.

You agree not to use nowslate to:

• Violate laws or the rights of others.
• Upload or display unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, systems, or networks without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt nowslate or related infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service except as allowed by law.
• Use nowslate for surveillance or other uses that require consent without obtaining that consent.

Some features may be free, in beta, or available through paid plans. If paid plans are offered, pricing, billing terms, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be shown during purchase or account management.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in the applicable purchase terms.

nowslate and its software, design, branding, and service materials are owned by nowslate or its licensors. These terms do not grant you any ownership rights in nowslate intellectual property.

Feedback you provide may be used by nowslate without restriction or obligation to you.

nowslate is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device, display, browser, or third-party integration.

Display content may depend on third-party services, network connectivity, device settings, permissions, and user configuration.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, nowslate will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, nowslate's total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to nowslate for the service in the 12 months before the claim or 100 US dollars.

You may stop using nowslate at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if we discontinue the service.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and acceptable use obligations.

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use of nowslate after the effective date of updated terms means you accept the updated terms.
